Defective Products - Crashworthiness
The term crashworthiness deals with a vehicle's ability to protect
drivers and passengers in the event of a collision. The crashworthiness
of a vehicle is related to the safety features of the vehicle.
These features include seat belts, air bags, roll bars, side impact
bars, and "crumple zones."
The manner in which your vehicle is designed and manufactured has
a direct effect on whether or not you will survive a serious accident.
The crashworthiness of your vehicle is based upon how it is designed
and manufactured. If it is determined that a vehicle is not
crashworthy this is usually the result of a defect in the design or
manufacturing of the vehicle.
